What is acoustic compression wave therpy (shockwave)?
and how does it work?
Acoustic Compression Wave Therapy is a non-invasive, highly effective, and affordable regenerative therapy. Also know as shockwave therapy, focused pressure waves are utilized to selectively affect damaged tissues and initiate the healing process. The pressure waves are painful over damaged or sore tissue, but not painful over healthy tissue, which is diagnostic in finding the areas of interest and treatment. The process is thought to initiate your body's own immune cells and stem cells through a process known as mechanotransduction.
